How do I prevent the infections that cause CPL from being carried between horses?

Never share grooming tools or tack, and wash coolers and blankets between horses. Farriers are a major concern. Their clothing and equipment are very hard to clean, and they’re basically carrying skin scrapings from one horse to the next.
